As my next deviation will show, my most advanced medium is oddly enough pencil. Why then do I work only with pen and marker of late? There are actually several reasons; 1.It feels scratchy on paper when making lines by graphite, which makes me feel like I don't want to draw for very long (chalk board effect). 2. It always looks old, not energetic ot fresh, just plain rustic. And 3. Overfocusing on "mistakes"- When I draw in pencil I can pretty much spend all day second guessing myself about whether the lines should stay the way they are or be replaced. Finally, the name Grey actually has meaning: It used to be my own personal joke on how all of my works (which were only in pencil) never looked black and white, but rather always were varying shades of grey. Even the blank parts of the page were covered in a thin dusting of graphite @.@; Anyways, good day ^u^/
